S3060/S3260, new
generation dobbies
Stäubli was proud to present the
newly developed dobby type 3060
for the first time in China. The 3060
is based on the success of the rotary
dobby invented by Stäubli many
decades ago. The new evolutionary
principle with a new locking system
features enhanced security for the
selection of the heald frames, al-
lowing higher running speeds as
well as superior reliability. Despite
its higher speed the new machine
has less noise and vibration and is
even more compact. It also
has a built-in cooling system
connexion and requires less
maintenance.
Stäubli has adapted its
range of cam motions to meet
the latest requirements. The
streamlined series of products
now includes new types. With
a high-performance cam-and-lever
assembly and a broad range of sym-
metrical and asymmetrical cams,
these advanced machines offer in-
creased flexibility and performance.

ries of cam motions type
1671/1681/1781 model 1681
was exhibited at the
Stäubli booth. Fur-
thermore, the high-
mounted cam motion
type S1352 – adaptable
particularly on water jet weaving
machines – as well as the universal
positive rotary dobby type 2658
were demonstrated at the booth.
Mobile automatic draw-
ing-in machine
The mobile automatic drawing-
in machine SAFIR S30, presented
for the first time at ITMA Asia in
2010, has now been successfully
introduced in several filament mills
in China, and has proved to opti-
mally integrate into the material
flow of a drawing-in department.
The unit is designed for extremely
high productivity, especially of fila-
ment weavers with high drawing-in
requirements.
SAFIR S30 moves along the
stable warp during drawing-in,
which is the contrary of traditional
drawing-in machines where the
warp sheet moves along the ma-
