Since then, the company is in a po-
sition to offer solutions for individ-
ual drive with no cardan shaft to the
weaving machine for its complete
range of Jacquard machines.
A Stäubli Jacquard machine
with independent drive on a rapier
weaving machine was exhibited at
the Stäubli booth. The LX 3202,
built for high speed and greater load
capacity, and available in a range of
6,144 to 14,336 hooks, was also
exhibited at the Stäubli booth.
At ITMA it produced tapestry
and upholstery fabric on a 180
cm wide rapier weaving ma-
chine, configured with 12,288
hooks.
The full range of Stäubli
harness types were shown with
a type DX Jacquard machine
on a demonstration stand. The
DX is suitable for any standard
Jacquard application.
The CX 182 type Jacquard
machine with servo-motor drive
mechanism for weaving narrow
fabrics such as ribbons and la-
bels was shown with 192 hooks
and harness with 4 repeats. Like
other Stäubli narrow fabrics
Jacquard machines, the CX 182
relies on the user-friendly DC1
controller that leaves all design
