The Textile Magazine
MAY 2012
“The crown that showed up on the first day was not so good, but the
response on quality of crowd that turned up to our stall on the second
and third day was very good. Almost all our customers have visited
our stall and happy with their response. LCC has been present in the
Indonesian market for more than 10 years. We are confident that it
will keep up much more than other Asian countries would within the
textile industry. Lots of new projects in the pipeline, and so people are
negotiating with our prices. The ambience and infrastructure is very
good for business compared to Bangung.”

“Since last year there has been turbulence in yarn prices
which has disturbed our customers in a big way. But to-
wards the end of last year, things were beginning to stabi-
lize, and this year things have started to move forward and
have helped us reach our budget. The Government is very
supportive in Indonesia and is helping the entire industry
and manufacturers to grow well. We are very happy to
welcome a lot of our existing customers. A lot of new en-
quires for new diversifications within the textile industry
and enquiries for our new machines. Overall very good,
and happy about the exhibition.”
– Mr. Henry Tio
Chairman, Groz-Beckert
“The overall response is good. The people who have
visited our stall have predominantly been very influen-
tial people. The quality of response in this show when
compared to other shows has been excellent. The infra-
structure is much better when compared to Bandung.
Elgi has a presence in the Indonesian market for the
past 4-5 years. Texmach Impex is our new agent and
we hope to do better in this market in the years to come.
Next to China and India, Indonesia is the most impor-
tant market for us in Asia. The market in Indonesia is
better with lots of investors around.”
