The first contact between Welspun and beck packautomaten happened over two decades ago, i.e. back in the 1990s. However, the first business with Welspun happened in 2012 and since then the relationship has grown from strength to strength. Beck packautomaten has pioneered many developments in the field of automatic film packaging and shrink wrapping, in finding customized solutions for highly demanding applications in home, hygenical and technical textiles.
Till now beck packautomaten has supplied and installed 8 machines in Welspun’s plants in Anjar and Vapi. This consists of 6 units of beck Fitpacker F1050 SX for packing terry towels in stacks and single units, and 2 units of the beck Serienpacker for packing rugs. The beck Fitpacker 1050 SX convinces with its tight packaging without any need to shrink the products. The beck Serienpacker convinces with its high flexibility to tightly pack different product sizes in mixed operation. Both the machines are also suitable for the packaging of floorings and can be easily changed over to different products.
To combat Covid, Welspun has launched a range of healthcare and hygiene products and anti-viral home textiles. Similarly, beck packautomaten has also reacted quickly to the Covid crisis , recognizing early the importance of hygiene in these times. Film packaging from the company offers optimum protection from other external influences. The company offers different types of packaging , providing a safe solution. Whether it is the packaging of masks, disinfectant wipes, non-woven material, or protective clothing, beck packautomaten offers the fitting packaging machine for each of these applications in its product portfolio.
