The company is known for its rollers that are of top quality on account of its modern infrastructure, quality control systems and the use of digital technologies
Vetri Engineers is a name that has become synonymous with high-quality top rollers and textile spinning replacement spares. Apart from catering to the demands of the domestic market, the company has also been exporting to several key global markets. Its team is all set to showcase its expertise in the forthcoming Texfair 2022 trade show. Vetri Engineers is an ISO 9001-certified company trusted for its commitment and ‘just in time’ deliverables with competitive price. Exuding positivity in an exclusive chat, the company’s CEO S Jayaprakash, says, “Hopefully, the worst of the pandemic is behind us. We are now witnessing good growth.”
“Our hard work and technology focus has ensured that we have regained almost 90% of the business of the pre-pandemic times,” he adds. The company is now launching greasing type end bush connectors for Rieter machine D 50 and LMW LDF3 draw-frame at the show. Some of the key benefits of the product include longer life, better performance and minimal maintenance. Elaborating about the key strengths of the company, Jayaprakash says that they are derived from the fact that instead of focusing on the competitors the company looks at ways and means to constantly improve itself. “We provide the latest top rollers,” he adds.
“We do this by focusing on modernising our infrastructure, quality control systems and the use of digital technologies,” he further points out. Vetri Engineers has more than 5,000 parts made or sourced with full back-up and technical specifications and dimensional drawings that are unique. Another key highlight of Vetri Engineer’s manufacturing infrastructure includes highly precise automated Japanese CNC machines worth Rs 80 lakhs to produce state-of-the-art end bushes with stringent quality and reliability checks in place. “We are the only manufacturer producing nearly 222 types of top rollers for almost all kinds of textile preparatory machines in the world with WTO compatibility,” Jayaprakash informs.
The company produces world-class top rollers proven for their performance and long life, determining the sliver quality of comber, draw-frame and lap machineries of leading names such as Rieter, Ingolstadt, LMW, Trutzschler, Zinser, Vouk, Toyoda, Hara Cherry, Howa, Padmatex, Texmaco, Howa, Platts, Sacco Lowell, etc. “In addition, we also provide vital textile top rollers for spinning, roving, under-casing for carding, combers, uni-combs, top combs and lap spools along with selected spares for various textile spinning machines,” Jayaprakash adds.
Optimistic Outlook
Sounding optimistic about the continued growth of the Indian textile industry, Jayaprakash says, “The whole world is now looking for select countries as part of the China Plus One strategy. India is among them. We have got a very good opportunity and request the government, which is already doing a very good job, to take more interest in areas such as textile manufacturing, availability of raw materials and up-skilling of manpower. Remember, the textile industry offers the best employment opportunities.”
In such a scenario, Vetri Engineers with its extended state-of-the-art in-house manufacturing facilities can make available standard and regular top rollers with end bushes within 24 hours to 72 hours from its stock, albeit with certain conditions that may change from time to time. As for the company’s vision for growth by the year 2025, Jayaprakash states: “By 2025 we want to produce four times the current quantum. As of now, we would like to have visitors from across the globe to our stall BA 51 at Texfair 2022. It would be an excellent platform to reconnect with customers after a gap of more than two years. Our entire team is excited about the event.”
