The company has been specializing in twisting machines and is the largest manufacturer of two-for-one twister (TFO) in India with more than 5,000 installations worldwide.

Veejay Lakshmi is the only manufacturer of automatic cone winders (ACWs) in India. The product range was expanded by adding ACWs in 1998. Both the products are used in textile mills for post-spinning and weaving preparatory operations.

Apart from the engineering division, the machinery manufacturer is actively engaged in export of 100 per cent cotton yarn through Veejay Lakshmi Textiles to Egypt, Mauritius, Belgium, Italy and the Far East countries like Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, etc.

Research & development

The company remains committed to delivering quality products to meet the customer requirements with continuous research and development for design improvements and cutting-edge technology. Investments are being regularly made for improving production facilities with the latest advanced technology machines to achieve high productivity and product quality and cut in production cost.

The company continues its efforts for the development of its existing products and new models. The performance of the machines has improved, and new products have been developed to widen applications. The machine components are indigenised in order to reduce the import content.

High quality imported CNC machines from across the globe are used at the manufacturing shop, which include CNC turning centres, CNC vertical machining centres and CNC horizontal machining centres, etc. The company has a comprehensive quality control division fully equipped with the most modern imported items such as slip gauge comparator, micro hardness tester, roughness tester, universal length measuring, digital spring tester, etc.
