With a daily production volume of 600 tonnes, the Vardhaman Group is the largest yarn producer in India. More than 1million ring spindles work unceasingly in the spinning mills of this broad-based group of companies. With its own fibre production facilities as well as dye houses, weaving mills and clothing factories, Vardhman is one of the largest textile group on the Indian sub-continent. The group employs workforce of 25,000 and exports its product worldwide.
Mr. Neeraj Jain, Joint Managing Director of the Vardhman Group, visited the Saurer Schlafhorst stand at ITMA and sealed with a handshake a Multi-Million deal for delivery of 26 more Autoconer 6 machines to Arisht Spinning Mills, a unit of Vardhman Group. Vardhman had already put 29 Autoconer 6 type V machines into operation at Vardhman Yarn in Satlapur since the start of the year. The company’s experiences with the new Schlafhorst automatic package were so positive that a follow up order was now placed at ITMA in Milan.
“Delivering top performance is our passion. We are a technology oriented company that consistently uses the most modern production methods. We were one of the first in India to invest in fully automated integrated systems in which the Autoconer, with its intelligent material flow system, plays a central role. The new machine generation is a further great step forward. The resource efficiency, productivity and ergonomic user–friendliness of the Autoconer 6 are outstanding” says Mr. Jain.
