Universal Fibers to jointly expand product portfolio with DuPont

Universal Fibers and DuPont Industrial Biosciences have announced a collaboration to produce and market carpet fiber using DuPont Universal-Fibers-MarcAmmenSorona renewably sourced polymer. The scope of the collaboration includes sales into the commercial, residential and automotive market segments. DuPont will provide its Sorona polymer to Universal Fibers for use in producing carpet fiber to be marketed and sold under the Universal Fibers brand with DuPont Sorona.
