Uniairr Systems has emerged as a leading player in dust air filtration and waste collection field, with its innovative solutions. The Coimbatore-based displayed its showcased its reliable range of equipment at the recently held Texfair 2024 trade fair.

In a freewheeling conversation at Uniairr System’s stall at Texfair 2024 , P.Shankar and S.Suresh Kumar, the company’s Managing Partners offered an overview of the company’s products , R&D , the advantages offered by the products and their future plans.

“After working in the field of air engineering for about 7 years, we both started Uniairr Systems in 2010. It helped that we both had wide ranging experience in sales and service of equipment. We wanted to provide reliable solutions for dust filtration, waste removal, collection and separation. With our focus on customer service and ability to provide customized solution, we have been able to make a mark in the market,” Shankar said.

The company’s modern manufacturing unit spread across 6,500 sq. is located in Coimbatore.

The product range offered by the company includes primary filters, secondary filters, ultra high efficiency centrifugal fans, fiber separators, compactors and micro dust filters. “We also offer solutions to the jute industry. We have designed a dust extraction system for the industry,” Suresh Kumar mentioned.

Major strengths

Highlighting the key reasons that make the company stand out from the crowd, Shankar noted,” We never compromise on quality. Secondly, our strength is our keen interest in air engineering. We are always doing research. If we gain something out of the research we are happy, if we fail in our attempt, it helps us to learn and then gain success.”

“Every product that we make is custom built. For example, you take the 5000 cmh secondary filter displayed in this exhibition. We designed it specifically for a customer. Similarly, with other compactors, when cotton is squeezed inside and then pushed out, there is a danger of the cotton getting ruptured, which means it cannot be reused again. A lot of customers told us about this issue. We did a lot of R&D and introduced a stripper roller in the compactor, which ensures that the cotton is not ruptured and can be reused in the blow room. Our other strength is that we never make any false commitments. Finally, all our products add to the sustainability score of the manufacturing process in textile mills, by avoiding wastage as well as in terms of energy savings. “

Prompt after sales support service is another strong point of the company. Elaborating on the topic, Suresh Kumar said,” Apart from our team of service engineers, we both also undertake service calls. We attend to calls, at all times, even in the midnight. This prompt service has made a preferred choice of customers.”

Positive outlook

When asked about the vision for the company, down the line, five years from now Shankar remarked,” We have done more than 460 installations. In the near future, we want to add new products. We are always observing the market needs and based on them we will try to meet our customer’s demand. This is our aim.”

Continuing further on the subject, Suresh Kumar stated,” We are already receiving good number of enquiries from overseas markets. We are on the finalizing stages for export to Bangladesh. We would like to increase our global footprint in the near future.”

Speaking about the company’s participation in Texfair 2024, Shankar sounded happy at the response.” We had good footfalls on all the four days. This is the 7th time we are participating in the event. We had visitors from all over the country visiting our stall and enquiring about solutions. The exhibition also gave us an opportunity to find out about the latest trends in the textile machinery segment.
