TUV SUD opens well-equipped testing centre at Gurgaon

TÜV SÜD, a global leader in testing, inspection and certification services, has just opened a state-of-the-art consumer product testing laboratory at Gurgaon, its largest one across India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The lab is equipped with the latest technology, an ultra-modern microbiological wing, a chemical lab with high precision equipments like ICP-MS, UPLC MS and GCMS, and experts with deep domain knowledge. The lab will extend services across sectors such as food, chemical, textile, leather, and hardlines such as toys, jewellery and cookware.

The lab is intended to cater to the testing, inspection and certification needs of the Indian manufacturing industry, which has recently received a big impetus and is projected to grow exponentially. Companies in the industry have recognised the need for superior quality standardisation and certifications in order to increase domestic production and to ensure global quality standards for export.

TÜV SÜD’s Gurgaon lab aims to further expedite growth of the industry by offering world class testing solutions, ensuring international safety standards and managing turnaround times in a cost-effective manner.
