TUV Rheinland, the well-known technical service provider at the global level, underscores the importance and potential of the Indian market by expanding the staff and testing facilities. Around 600 people will be hired in India in the next three years to meet the growing demand for its services. Also, two new softline testing laboratories will be operational soon.
In India, TÜV Rheinland currently employs around 400 highly skilled professionals. Working in 23 regional offices and eight state-of-the-art laboratories spread over 18 cities, they inspect, test and certify people, products, installations, processes, and management systems against international standards.
The company registers a 35 per cent growth rate year on year. Of its six business streams operated globally, five are active in India: Industrial Services, Products, Mobility, Systems and Training & Consulting. All the five business streams have performed consistently in the last few years and the outlook is hopefully positive.
“We have been investing significantly in India in the last few years and will continue to do so. This clearly shows that India is and will remain a target market for us,” said TÜV Rheinland CEO Manfred Bayerlein.
