Rs. 7,200-crore investment planned
Trident Ltd., the flagship company of the Trident Group, has formulated long-term business goals and devised growth plans for the company that is in line with the Vision to be $3 billion in revenues by 2025. Keeping in view the current business synergies, Trident has proposed the following expansion plans in Madhya Pradesh with the total outlay of Rs. 7,200 crores.
As part of the company’s massive project in Budni, Madhya Pradesh, Trident will expand its processing & CSP capacity for bed sheet manufacturing, bed linen unit comprising of 500 looms, terry towel unit comprising of 300 looms, spinning unit comprising three lakh spindles & 2,000 rotors, garments, rugs, top of bed and fashion bedding and technical textile unit. The expansion plan also includes the paper business with a capacity of 500 tonnes per day.
Trident will also invest on utilities, including co-gen power plant, solar power plant and multi-specialty mini health centre.
The aforesaid projects shall be eligible for various incentives & benefits under mega project policies of the State and Central Government and are subject to technical feasibility, financial viability and evaluation.
Further, the schedule of implementation shall be in phased manner as may be approved by the Board from time to time, after financial closure & evaluation of all opportunities that will maximize value and is in the best interest of the company and its stakeholders.
