On April 1, 2002, TMT Machinery made a powerful start with an ambitious leap into the global market. TMT came into existence after it was jointly incorporated by the above-mentioned leading manufacturers of synthetic fibre machinery. While the cotton spinning division of Murata Machinery is still retained separately by the parent company, the man-made fibre division joined hands to complete the portfolio offered by TMT.

TMT has supplied its machines to all the top names within the vertical and dominates the industry with more than 85 per cent market share in IDY and FDY.
With more than 25 projects having been successfully commissioned on the Indian soil, TMT is bullish about its presence in this country. Big names like Reliance, ALOK, Welspun, Nova, Garden, Indorama, etc., are regular customers of TMT. In India, TMT-Inditech has supplied part of projects ranging from as small as 18 tonnes to massive 400 tonnes at a single location.
