The Mumbai Unit of the Textile Association (India) is organising its annual conference with the theme “Indian Textiles – The Way Forward” in Mumbai on November 14.
The sessions and the topics selected for the conference are relevant to the current scenario and will be beneficial to textile professionals. Over 300 participants comprising senior managers, decision makers and reputed textile professionals are expected at the conference.
Mrs. Kiran Soni-Gupta, Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, and Mrs. Deepali Goenka, Managing Director, Welspun Global Brands Ltd. (WGBL), will be the guests of honour on the occasion.
Presentations on credit access to the textile and clothing sector, challenges related to foreign exchange fluctuations, intellectual property rights – ethical business practices, Cont Dyeing, garment business and supply chain management, challenges in meeting consumer demands, and product specifications as a USP will be made at the conference by industry experts.
