T T Ltd. has decided to install a mega garment plant at its Gajroula factory as a diversification move from spinning to garments. This would enjoy the benefits of Central subsidies and incentives as well as special subsidies and incentives declared by the new UP textile policy.
T T Ltd. is restructuring its business. It is exiting spinning and entering garmenting and fabric business on a massive scale. The garment and fabric turnover is to be doubled by 2018-19.
The company is also expanding its retail stores under the brand “T T Bazaar”. As many as 50 stores have already opened, and another 50 stores are in the pipeline. It is planning to open 250 such stores by 2019, all of which would be on the Franchisee model.
For garment business and for T T Bazaar retail, the company is appointing distributors in less covered States like Chhattisgarh, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana and Maharashtra.
