Adwaith Lakshmi’s global presence spans diverse markets, including the US, South America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, and Japan. The company is continually exploring opportunities to expand its reach.
Highlighting promising markets, he says, “The African and Chinese markets hold good potential. With China transitioning its focus to high-tech industries like EVs, robotics, we should also explore the possibilities to export cotton textiles, where we are equally good. It also helps to offset the trade imbalance on the other hand.
Navigating market trends and challenges
The global home textile market is at present shaped by dynamic trends and evolving customer preferences. While the luxury segment remains strong, the mass market faces hurdles due to selective consumer spending, particularly in regions like Europe, where inflation is still a challenge.
“Geopolitical stability, especially in Europe, could significantly improve market sentiment. Challenges like disruptions in global shipping routes, inflation, and energy insecurity impact demand, but there’s room for optimism. India’s domestic market, with its vast potential, also offers exciting growth prospects,” remarks Ravi Sam.
He emphasizes the importance of adaptability in navigating these challenges. “We are focused on maintaining our current growth levels while staying prepared for a surge in demand as global conditions stabilize. Growth will follow once confidence in the market returns.”
Customer-Centric approach
One of the key differentiators for Adwaith Lakshmi is its customer-centric ethos. “Our competitive advantage lies in our unwavering focus on customer relationships. We treat every customer with equal importance, regardless of their size or order volume. Customization is another area where we excel. Whether a customer needs specific adaptations to a product, we ensure their requirements are met with precision,” points out Ravi Sam.
This approach has earned the company the trust and loyalty of its clients worldwide, solidifying its position as a preferred partner for premium home textiles.
Optimistic outlook
Despite global challenges, Adwaith Lakshmi remains optimistic about the future of the home textiles industry. “We are determined to return to pre-Covid market levels, which requires a positive shift in global sentiment. Inflation, geopolitical tensions, and trade barriers are temporary roadblocks. Once these stabilize, we anticipate robust growth,” he asserts.
In the meantime, the company is focusing on adapting to current market conditions and enhancing its product offerings to stay ahead of the competition.
