Sumanlal J. Shah & Co., one of the well-known manufacturers and exporters of textile machinery replacement spare parts, is participating in ITME for the fifth time consecutively.
Speaking exclusively to The Textile Magazine, Mr. Rahul A. Shah, (CEO), and Mr. Prashanth Y. Shah (G.M.), Sumanlal J. Shah & Co., said: “ITME is undoubtedly a very big platform to showcase our product range. This year, visitors can take a look at all our latest offerings at our stall in the H1-B9 hall.”
Continuing further, Mr. Shah said: “While we are already an established name in the field, the event gives us a chance to meet with new potential customers, both from India and abroad. Thanks to the fair, even those who don’t know us will come to know that here is a company that supplies a wide range of quality spares at the best price.”
Mr. Shah also stated that the event offers a great opportunity for them to highlight their commitment to quality and further consolidate their market presence.
Asked what distinguished Sumanlal J. Shah & Co. from its competitors, Mr. Shah said: “We supply on a catalogue basis – based on catalogue number and part number. Clients only need to give us those two details and we will supply accordingly. We give fast delivery. We have a huge stock of products, manufactured in our own facility.”
Speaking about the kind of visitors they intend to target, Mr. Shah stated: “We are already a well known entity among the textile mills. However, in many of these textile mills, the top management is being taken over by the younger generation. So, we think ITME 2016 will help us network with these new generation entrepreneurs, technicians, engineers as well as business visitors from abroad.”
In the past four years, the company has invested in the latest automated machinery in an effort to deliver better quality products.
Sumanlal J. Shah & Co. has a number of big names among its clientele, including Super, Shanmugavel, Premier, Precot, Ramco Group, Welspun, Nahar, Vardhman, Mafatlal, Alok, Arvind, SEL, Trident, VPL, Sportking, etc.
Mr. Shah believes that the company’s biggest strengths are its commitment to quality, fast delivery, and strict adherence to deadlines. “What we commit, we always fulfill”, he added.
Speaking about the company’s performance in 2016, Mr. Shah said that since the company is also into exports, they did not feel the crunch due to the lull in industry.
On a concluding note, Mr. Shah stated that the company recently achieved a milestone by increasing its exports by 10%, from 25% earlier to 35%.
