Standard Textile Co. and Küçükçalık announced that they have entered into a joint venture agreement. The joint venture agreement brings together the specialized expertise and knowledge of two leading textile manufacturers to expand their product portfolios and accelerate growth in the healthcare, hospitality and consumer goods sectors.
Küçükçalık is a global leader in textile manufacturing with important locations in Turkey and Egypt. From fiber production to weaving and finishing, the company makes clothing, bedding, curtains and other decorative products for the consumer market. The company opened its first weaving mill in 1990 and added dye works and printing works in 1992. In 2019 Küçükçalık created a new sustainable yarn from discarded PET bottles with the help of advanced spinning technology. The company is listed among the top 500 companies in the Turkish industrial sector.
