Sri Ashwin Industriess, Coimbatore, set up in 2006 by Mr. Muthukutti Kumaravel with limited educational qualification of SSLC, specialises in, and supplies innovative power saving pneumafil products such as rotary filter to stationary filter conversion, common suction pipe conversion and energy-sufficient impeller as retrofit to Rieter / LMW’s long ring spinning frames in the textile spinning industry.
Within 10 years, he has successfully installed more than 7,000 machines in 700 satisfied textile spinning customers’ mills in Tamil Nadu alone. Naturally, all of them are extremely happy with not only the effective cost saving in electrical energy, but also effective and efficient ‘waste collection’, thus making the environment clean around ring frame machines.
Both pneumafil stationary filters and common pipe suction retrofits ensure increased suction, with less top rollers / bottom rollers lapping, thus reducing the manpower requirements. Equally, spindle speed also ensures higher productivity.
With the payback period of less than six months of the investment made, the average ring frame power saving could be 1,000 units per month. This means that for a typical mill with 25,000 spinning energy saving would be @ 800 units (approximately Rs. 1,50,000 per month).
