The company supplies different types of warp stop motions like electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical for all types of air jet looms, rapier looms, water jet looms, and shuttle and special purpose looms
Indian pioneer of warp stop motions, Shree Ram Textile was started by Mohanlal Panchal in 1957, grandfather of Purvik Panchal, Director – Technical and Sales. At that time, the company produced various weaving machinery parts along with warp stop motion for only shuttle looms. Purvik Panchal’s father, Jayantilal Panchal joined the company in 1975 and discontinued producing various weaving machine parts and concentrated only on manufacturing warp stop motions and contact bars. The company initially started with a 600 sq. feet facility. A new facility of 400 sq. feet was started 10 years later.
In the eighties, yet another new facility of 600 sq. feet was added. In 2015, the company consolidated its production and shifted to the current facility which has a built up area of 4,000 sq. feet. In the last 65 years, warp stop motion has undergone major developments. The accuracy level was also increased. Earlier, warp stop motions were produced for only up to 190 cm looms, but now the company supplies them for up to 420 cm looms. In the earlier days, warp stop motion was only mechanical but after Purvik Panchal joined the company in 2014, he introduced electrical as well as a combination of electrical and mechanical warp stop motions for shuttle looms.
Now the company supplies different types of warp stop motions like electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical for all types of air jet looms, rapier looms, water jet looms, and shuttle and special purpose looms. Warp stop motions produced by Shree Ram Textile are compatible for manufacturing all kinds of fabrics whether made from cotton, polyester, silk, jute, shirting, suiting, denim fabrics, home textiles, and even technical textiles. The company is now constructing a brand new unit over an area of 25,000 sq. feet and a built-up area of 18,000 sq. feet. At the new facility, more than 60% will be latest and fully automated technologies and the capacity will double as against the existing capacity of 4,500 sets.
The company offers a very good quality product at a very competitive price. A majority of its production process is in-house, which gives it complete control over the quality of raw material or the final product. This advantage has enabled the company to win orders in several countries against even Chinese competitors who offer similar quality of motions. Within India, Shree Ram Textile supplies their products through channel partners and also its own sales team. It also exports to Bangladesh, Belgium, Colombia, Greece, Mexico, Myanmar, Singapore, the UK and Vietnam, among other countries. It is also an OEM for major weaving machinery brands across India and the world. The company expects to grow rapidly in the next five years because of demand for fabrics arising from non-traditional user industries like agriculture, automobiles, infrastructure, etc.
