The recently concluded India-ITME 2016 textile machinery trade show turned out to be yet another happy occasion for Sheltronics which joined it in a big way. The company’s latest product offerings in textile machinery accessories and components showcased at the event drew appreciation from visitors, both from the India and abroad.
Looking back at the company’s participation in the event, Mr. C.M. Chandrasekaran, Managing Director, said: “The event was useful for it enabled us to meet our Indian as well as a few clients from abroad, all under one roof.”
The following products were showcased by Sheltronics at the trade show.

Giving details about the new products launched at India ITME 2016 by the company, Mr. Chandrasekaran remarked: “We launched new technology SEDAC-16 ‘Sheltronics Electronic Draft Autoleveller Controller’ for Drawframe at the event. We take pride in stating that our product design is appreciated by European manufacturers. Our product technology also has an edge over German Drawframe Autoleveller models. Other than OEMs, we have the backing of other textile customers too who want to upgrade from their existing Drawframe Autolevellers to SEDAC-16. Some of the overseas visitors to our stall from Thailand, Bangladesh, Egypt and Indonesia also admired the SEDAC-16.”
Several top organizations from the textile industry visited the company’s stall during the event. These included well-known names such as Sangam Spinners, Rajasthan, Precot Meridian Group Mills, RSWM Ltd. Group Mills, Vardhman Group Mills, Indocount Industries Ltd., Maharashtra, Alok Industries, Nahar Spinning Mills Ltd., Ludhiana, etc.
The company hopes that the impressive showing at the event will convert into more orders for the SEDAC-16 in the near future.
Speaking about his expectations from the Indian textile market in 2017 Mr. Chandrasekaran said that the company’s product is unique in the auto levelling segment and that he expects upgradation of the existing old Drawframes to SEDAC-16 Autoleveller Technology without Gear box to happen in greater numbers.
Finally rating Sheltronics’ participation in the India-ITME 2016 trade show, he said: “We would rate our participation 60-70%. There are a few things that could have been better but overall we are happy with the event.”
