As one of the most influential textile events in China, the 16th International Exhibition on Textile Industry (ShanghaiTex 2013) will be held during June 10-13, 2013. In the last edition of ShanghaiTex held in 2011, the exhibition occupied 92,000 sqm with over 1,000 participants from 23 countries and regions, while the number of visitors touched a record high of 55,080.
The 2013 edition of ShanghaiTex will act as a pioneer to lead the transformation and upgradation of the Chinese textile industry by bringing a full array of textile products, machinery and technology from China and from all over the world under one roof.
Three new theme zones will be launched in ShanghaiTex 2013. With new materials and technology advancement, finer knitted products can be produced and more sophisticated designs achieved. This zone will demonstrate the latest knitting products and the related technology applications.
The Techtextile Technology & Product zone will have a fine display of a wide range of performance fabrics and value-added products in this blooming technical textile market.
The Printing Machinery zone will feature integrated digital textile printing solutions and machinery with new industry standard in the market sector. The new generation machines with higher output, higher resolution printing heads and more sophisticated textile material handling systems will also be on display.
The other five well-established zones that will fulfill the interests of buyers with a wide spectrum of technology, machinery and services in the industry are knitting & hosiery machinery; weaving machinery; spinning & techtextile machinery; printing, dyeing & finishing machinery & textile chemicals; and spare parts and accessories for textile machinery.
