Setex is proud to announce that it has surpassed its goals in nearly all its disciplines at ITMA. It received a good number of quality visitors who were heading some of the major textile companies. Setex used this opportunity to intensify tapping the market in order to confirm its position and got duly rewarded with a lot of enquiries for its product range.
“Our customers are faced with numerous challenges and SETEX addressed all of them at ITMA. From energy savings and sustainability, internet of things and mobile apps to a simple handling of complex processes to improve efficiency, we addressed these versatile themes with our actual product range.
But there are new challenges. Technology gets more complex. Machines get more complex. The user shall have a tool for simple operation of today’s complex production.
“We want to help the customers to use these modern machines at its full! As solution on this, we introduced new and innovative products as the new SETEX controllers S380 and E380 for dyeing and the C380 for finishing machines. This new generation comes with multi-touch, an innovative program designer, web-user interface and many more features that are interesting. Furthermore, we demonstrated the new OrgaTEX X1 software, which offers a new recipe management and a new formula assistant to simplify complex production processes”, said Mr. Jürgen Jerzembeck, Head of Marketing, SETEX Schermuly Textile Computer GmbH.
Mastering the production process is the key for success. With OrgaTEX X1, Setex makes the difference from traditional finishing processes to automatic guided and controlled manufacturing. Every batch receives its own individual finishing recipe, automatically. Each machine setting parameter is determined, transferred and controlled specifically by the central system, reliably. Manual input is avoided wherever possible and batch log data are archived and applied for retraceability, evaluation and optimization.
The company earned a lot of interest with its new version of FabricINSPECTOR and CamCOUNT. These are the new camera systems to monitor and control the thread frequency and the shrinking of woven and knitted goods on compactors, stenter frames and eco applicators.
Many projects of Setex were discussed in detail at the fair and technological solutions were prepared together with the customers. Setex is very happy with the number of deals closed at the exhibition. Particularly customers from South America and the Far East used the opportunity for round-table discussions with the company and machine suppliers to specify needs and finalize orders.
“With the new SETEX 380 controller generation and OrgaTEX X1 process optimization software, we broke new grounds in handling and usability. Market observation was very important to us. We had deep and intensive discussions with all types of our customers and we are very excited, that both product ranges are very well received. The camera-based product FabricINSPECTOR did an excellent job with acquisition of new customers. Quality managers of retailers and technical textiles liked this system”, said Mr. Jerzembeck.
Customers from Germany, Italy and India topped the list of Setex visitors, followed by Turkey, China, the Far East and South America. Setex had fruitful discussions with the teams from Germany and Italy. Customers from other countries discussed projects from updates of outdated automation to integrating automatic weighing, dosing and supply systems and intelligent real-time communication between all systems.
Setex boasts of a good 2015 for projects worldwide. It is now prepared to participate in new machinery shows and to increase project business by adapting the existing machinery to increase the production efficiency.
“For 2016 we are expecting to be part of the predicted growth for the textile industry in India. With Setex India, we are well prepared to manage the challenges from the market and upcoming projects with the big players here. For the upcoming India ITME in Mumbai, Setex started to focus on an own booth, showing our innovative products and software solutions”, he added.
