Today the group consists of the segments Saurer Spinning Solutions and Saurer Technologies. It recently organized its annual ‘Customer’s Day Road Show 2018’ at various locations.
The ‘Customer Day Show 2018 was held in Ahmedabad, Vijayawada, Coimbatore, Madurai and Nagpur. The shows were conducted as part of the group’s product management to give an opportunity to have valuable interactions with the customers while presenting the latest developments. The second part of the event will be conducted in other key spinning areas in the country.
To better accommodate the growing market in India and the surrounding countries, Saurer has set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility near Vadodara, Gujarat, producing the latest generation of Zinser ring and roving frames, including Texparts spindles and drafting systems.

One of the key highlights of the customer Day Shows was product presentations. Customers were given a detailed presentation on the reliable and efficient complete blow room lines of the company. The cost-effective carding series from Saurer which has been designed for lower energy consumption was also part of the presentation.
Customers were given detailed insights into the latest Zinser 72 XL, which has been setting new benchmarks in ring spinning. Zinser 72XL offers a package of powerful technology for large producers with new benefit of maximum flexibility for all applications.
The Zinser 72 XL with super-long, more powerful drives and the highest consistency in quality thanks to the new ‘FlexiDrive’ central drive for super-long machines. The machine also features energy-saving technologies such as ‘TwinSuction’ and comes with the option for customized automation.
Customers were also taken through the salient features of new launch Autoconer X6 which offers upto 20% less energy consumption thanks to features such as vacuum control power on demand, aerodynamic, flow-optimized design and minimum compressed air consumption due to adjustable ‘MultiJet’.
The presentation also included an overview of Texparts components for the textile industry, including drafting systems, spindles as well as bearings for different spinning applications.
