Mr. Rohit Aggarwal is Global Vice President, Strategic Marketing and Planning of Huntsman Textile Effects, a division of Huntsman Inc., providing dyes and chemicals to the global textile industry.
A veteran with 20 years of experience, Mr. Aggarwal has developed an in-depth understanding of the chemicals industry, having worked with renowned MNCs in different global capacities and in managing numerous marketing teams.
A member of the TE leadership team, he plays a key role for the business’s global strategic marketing and planning platforms, including strategic marketing, marketing communications, product management, business development and Formulation Distribution Center organization.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Aggarwal was the Global Vice President, Apparel and Home Textiles (AHT) where he set the AHT business strategy to drive the business to achieve as much as 60 per cent of the total TE sales and in supporting the TE leadership in defining the vision, values and strategy for the division. Earlier, he was Director, Global Strategy and Marketing, with Huntsman Advanced Materials.
Mr. Aggarwal began his career 1991 in India and worked with leading corporate brands such as PepsiCo and Asian Paints. In 1998, he joined Solutia Inc., India, and in 2000 he was moved to Solutia Inc. / Monsanto Inc. in Wiesbaden, Germany, a US-based chemical company that spun off from Monsanto. After UCB S.A. Surface Specialties S.A., Brussels, acquired the Solutia Resins business in 2002, he moved with the business as Global Business / Alliance Manager, continuing his career in Europe.
Born in India, Mr. Rohit Aggarwal holds M.B.A. (International Business) from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, and Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from MS University, Baroda.
He and his family currently reside in Singapore where the Textile Effects global headquarters is located.
