Rabatex introduces Advanced Mother Yarn Split Sectional Warping Machine

by Arun Rao

At the recent SITEX 2024 exhibition in Surat, Rabatex Industries, led by Mr. Haresh Panchal, unveiled an advanced Mother Yarn Split Warping machine, poised to revolutionize the textile industry. This cutting-edge machine is specifically designed for warping polyester and nylon Mother yarn, addressing a critical need in the market with remarkable efficiency.

“Through this new technology, Rabatex has eliminated the stage of cop winding. This technology, while helping increase the productivity of the sectional warping machine, will also reduce other related costs by eliminating one stage of the warping process,” Mr. Panchal explained.

Revolutionary Warping Technology

The new machine from Rabatex includes a creel machine equipped with 128 ends, each capable of being split into 12 or 16 filaments. These split filaments are then wound directly onto beams of the sectional warping machine, streamlining the process significantly.

In contrast, traditional sectional warping machines split the Mother Yarn, wind it onto a cop, and then feed the beams of the warping machine with the cop filaments. Rabatex’s innovation eliminates the cop winding stage, enhancing productivity and reducing associated costs.

Currently, the machine can handle 10-20 denier yarns, with future plans to accommodate even finer yarns, showcasing Rabatex’s forward-thinking approach.

Positive Market Reception

Mr. Panchal emphasized the timeliness and market readiness for this product, with enthusiastic responses from buyers at SITEX. “We have booked orders for Six   machines on the first day and till now on the second day we have already booked eight more orders. Out of this, we have already received token amounts from three customers,” he noted.

Rabatex’s journey in Surat began in 1998, coinciding with the industry’s shift towards Waterjet machines. The company supplied sectional warping machines to the first four units investing in Waterjet weaving machines. “The Surat textile industry is very innovative and so they need a different kind of warp on a regular basis. At Rabatex, we were able to provide them with solutions in their existing sectional warping machines, without the need to invest in new warping machines. This is the reason we have crossed more than 1,400 sectional warping machine installations in Surat,” Mr. Panchal said proudly.

Commitment to Quality and Customer Satisfaction

Rabatex maintains a robust presence in Surat with a dedicated 22-member team for sales and after-sales service, along with a stock point for spares. The company prides itself on being customer-centric, ensuring that customers achieve a good and quick return on investment (RoI) and enjoy uninterrupted machine operation with minimal maintenance costs.

“Our biggest achievement has been retaining our customers who have given us repeat orders and due to this, we have double the installations compared to our nearest competitor in Surat,” Mr. Panchal shared. “We will never sell inferior machines. We source the best available technologies. Our motors and control panel parts are sourced from Siemens, while electronic parts are sourced from Mitsubishi, Japan. Our customers will not need to replace any of these even after using the machines for more than 12-15 years. This is an indirect earning for our customers.”

Embracing Automation for Future Growth

To propel its growth, Rabatex is focusing on automated storage and retrieval systems. Over the past few years, they have sold numerous units and have significant expansion plans for this product segment. The system offers vertical lift module solutions, allowing companies to store 15-20 times more inventory in a small space and automate the retrieval process.

“A company can store 5,000 different parts and the technology will be able to search and identify a particular part from among the 5,000 parts. It’s a next-generation technology and can be used by all types and kinds of industries,” Mr. Panchal stated.

Rabatex has been a consistent participant at SITEX, recognizing it as an ideal platform to engage with customers from across India. The company concluded the fiscal year 2023-24 with a 40 percent year-on-year growth and is optimistic about achieving a 25 percent growth in the ongoing fiscal year.

With innovations like the Mother Yarn Split Sectional Warping machine and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality, Rabatex continues to lead the way in the textile machinery industry, poised for sustained growth and success.
