DBL Group has brought PUMA in Bangladesh as the franchise partner with a vision to provide Bangladeshi people the real taste of a proper international sportswear brand. PUMA made its entry into the Bangladesh market with the launch of the brand’s first flagship store in Dhaka. This store is amongst one of PUMA’s biggest stores in South-East Asia. Spread over the 2,200 square feet, the outlet showcases the widest array of the company’s latest performance and sport-style products.
The store layout, brand and campaign imagery all has been integrated in a unique manner to engage with the consumers further. The store has been organized and decorated in the FF (Forever Faster) Concept. The reason behind is that, PUMA is one of the most world-renowned sports brands which encourages people to lead a very active life.
Talking about the launch, Mr. M.A. Jabbar, Managing Director of DBL Group, said: “We are incredibly proud to open the first PUMA brand store for Bangladesh at this iconic location. On the launching ceremony several personalities of the country were present along with Mushfiqur Rahim, Sabbir Rahman, Imrul Kayes, Abu Hider Rony and Liton Kumar Das – the star cricketers of Bangladesh cricket team. Mr. Abdul Wahed, Chairman, Mr. M.A. Jabbar, Managing Director, Mr. M.A. Rahim, Vice Chairman, and Mr. M.A. Quader, Deputy Managing Director, were present from DBL Group along with Mr. Pulak Chaudhary, Business Head – Multi Brand Channel, PUMA.
This exciting launch has opens up further avenues for the brand and PUMA is looking at exponentially expanding its presence in Bangladesh with more outlets in future to cater to the needs of the fans and people of Bangladesh.
