Pratibha Syntex (CMC Trust) brings a wave of change in the lives of local communities

You will reap what you sow-believing in the adage, CMC Trust, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Pratibha Syntex Ltd. brings holistic change in many lives with philanthropic endeavors. The organization has been engaged primarily in three verticals; Health, Education, and infrastructure development.

Committed to ensuring one and all in good health, CMC Trust has been engaging in a number of initiatives. In the fiscal 2021-22, the benevolent trust worked in five districts of Madhya Pradesh; Khargone, Ujjain, Dhar, Jhabua, and Alirajpur. In Khargone, Jhabua, Ujjain and Dhar districts, a total of 171 eye check-up camps were organized. Under the camps, 4048 cataract operations were facilitated. One cataract patient from Unhel village Dapu bai said that I had been suffering from low vision due to cataract since last two years. And it was difficult for my family to bear the financial burden of the operation. CMC Trust came to my rescue in difficult times. It facilitated cataract operations at elite eye hospital Choitram Netralaya, Indore.

An oxygen generator plant has been donated to Jobat primary health center in the Alirajpur district. In times of Covid around 1000 beds were donated at Maa Ahilya Covid Care Centre developed at Radha Swami Premises. As a COVID preventive measure, 20000 isolation kits were distributed in these districts with the help of district administration and the Confederation of Indian Industry. 5000 immunity booster tablets were also distributed to the residents of Sagore village in the Dhar district.

Our leading light, Shri Chhogmal Ji Chaudhary always believed in the importance of education in life. He always preached and helped people to get a good education, said Shri S K Chaudhary, Managing Trustee. Following his footsteps, we have established a computer lab and a dress designing and tailoring lab at Government Girls School, Sagore. The labs are benefitting 1500 students of the school. The vocational courses are being run in parallel to academic courses. The trust has appointed two teachers to train the students about the vocation courses. The vocational courses will help girls to attain their dream to be become computer wizard or fashion enthusiast.

One of the students of the school, Rekha Gupta said that after learning the knacks of dress designing, I will be able to attain my dream to become a fashion designer.

The school Vice Principal, Mr. Bal Krishna Shukla said that his students are satisfied with the courses. The courses are giving them the opportunity to pursue their interest and earn livelihood once they are graduated from the school.

Recently on Nov 20, 2021, CMC trust developed a garden called Shruti Udyan in the Jainagar area of Pithampur. The garden is giving solace to 6000 residents of the area. A lawn, sitting area, and pavements have been developed in the garden. Swings have been installed for children’s recreation. The garden will help the community building in the area with people getting congregated there in evening hours, said Lalu Sharma, a resident of Jaynagar.

The management has gifted row houses to 28 employees and in the next year, it is projected to provide homes to 100 employees. One of the employees, Geeta Tomar, who has received home in TDS Pride said that the company has fulfilled my dream.
