India ITME Society is a four decade old nonprofit organization with a vision to support the industry through exhibitions facilitating investments, joint ventures and technology transfer. The textile sector is one of the largest contribution to India’s exports with approximately 11% of total exports. India’s overall textile exports during F.Y.2015-2016 stood at US$ 40 billion and the industry is expected to reach US$223 billion by 2021.
The industry being the second largest employer after agriculture, it is utmost necessary that Indian textile machine manufacturing industry has to strengthen its base for quality output accepted at international levels. India is now developing in multifolds in most of the sectors specially in the spinning machinery manufacturing segments. This once in four year mega exhibition is a trend setter and gateway to new customers in urban Indian market as well as in the rural market.
