Nitin Spinners Limited informed that the trial run on expanded capacity of 72960 compact spindles has been completed successfully and commercial production has commenced from February 15 last, taking the total spindles to 223056 and 2936 rotors. After this expansion the company’s production capacity has increased from 38000 TPA to 50000 TPA of cotton yarn and 8500 TPA of knitted fabrics.
The company will be able to produce superfine compact premium yarns in the new facilities, which will increase its product range and its ability to cater to varying demands of customers and widen its customer base.
Nitin Spinners has reported a turnover of Rs. 248.24 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2016, registering an increase of 30.34 per cent from the turnover of Rs. 190.45 crores during the corresponding quarter in the previous year. The turnover for the nine months ended December 31, 2016, has increased by 12.43 per cent to Rs. 648.79 crores from Rs. 577.05 crores in the corresponding period in previous year.
