Why do you think you were chosen to assume this leadership role?
I believe I bring a wealth of international business experience and exceptional leadership abilities. Combined with my strong technical and commercial acumen and forward-thinking approach, I am poised to lead Americhem to unprecedented success in India and Southeast Asia (SEA). My appointment further solidifies our dedication to fostering growth in the region, as emphasized by our CEO, Mr. John Richard.
What is your vision and strategy for Americhem in India and Southeast Asia?
I will be dedicated to harnessing the company’s existing strengths while actively exploring innovative avenues for growth. Our vision includes a strategic focus on demanding and specialty masterbatch products for Fibers, Non-Woven, Films, and Functional Additives, as well as plans to expand Specialty Engineering & Healthcare compounds, all integral to our global expansion strategy as stated by Mr. Richard.
What are your key responsibilities and focus?
I will assume full responsibility for driving profitable and sustainable growth in the region. My primary focus will be on developing new businesses & local products in alignment with regional & divisional strategies. Furthermore, I will oversee the upcoming phase of expansion and growth for our existing business, while simultaneously exploring new markets and applications. This will enable us to offer high-value products and services to meet the growing demand in India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
What’s your view on the market potentials in India and Southeast Asia?
I have the same opinion as many experts who predicted significant economic growth in India & SEA countries in the coming decades due to factors like large young population, economic reforms, infrastructure development, exports, & global market access.
What do you think makes Americhem the preferred solution provider for customers in these regions?
Globally our customers see us as a one-stop Solution Provider for all their Polymer needs. We are a global company with a long history, diverse markets & product end-use knowledge in Specialty Masterbatch, Single Pigment Dispersion, and Compounding Technologies.
Is there any exciting news for Americhem slated for 2024 or 2025 that could drive business growth?
We’ve outlined our intentions to enhance our presence in these regions and broaden our product range. Furthermore, as a company, we are dedicated to taking the lead and providing support for all the sustainability initiatives initiated by our customers.
