The Coimbatore-based Nestling Technologies, considered a top electronic textile machine management solution provider, showcased its expertise in contamination cleaning management at the recently held India-ITME 2016 trade show.
In an exclusive chat with The Textile Magazine, Mr. Chandrasekaran, Managing Director of the company, while speaking about the company’s participation in the premier textile machinery trade, observed: “It was a great success for Nestling since it’s our first participation in an international exhibition. We have received overwhelming response from both national and international visitors. The event has given an opportunity to Nestling to strengthen its presence in the international market.”
The company launched the latest version of its flagship product – ‘I-SCAN-µ2C’ – at the event. Going into details of the latest launch, Mr. Chandrasekaran stated: “With the latest V2 edition of I-SCAN-µ2C one can get assured of cleaning efficiency of 70-80% in the case of both colour and white polypropylene impurities. The new launch is the result of our continuous R&D efforts.”
Some of the top customers who visited the company stall at the event included, the Vice-Chairman, Directors and senior executives from Ramco Group, the Directors and senior executives from the Shanmugavel Group, the Managing Directors, Directors and senior executives from Ravali, Sitaram, Vallabh Pitte, Thirumala Cotton, Viswateja, Murugan Tex, KKP, LS Mills, SJLT, Mafatlal, Sintex, Vardhman, etc. Apart from these, the presidents and members of leading trade associations such as SIMA, APSMA, SISPA, ITF, OSMA and TASMA and several leading textile consultants visited the company stall.
The company has finalized a good number of orders at the show. According to Mr. Chandrasekaran, the company has received an order and an appreciation letter from the Vice-Chairman of the Ramco Group. This apart, it has also finalized the orders for two machines from Sri Karpagam Mills and three machines each from Sangeeth Textiles and R.S. Mills.
Commenting on the prospects for the textile industry, Mr. Chandrasekaran said: “We expect reasonable growth during 2017-18. We hope to continue in the growth path thanks to our well equipped manufacturing facilities supported by a talented team. We hope that the government will take all necessary initiatives to make the industry sustainable and competitive.”
On a parting note while sharing his views on the India ITME 2016 trade show, he said: “Overall, we were a bit disappointed due to the fact that the number of international visitors, as well as visitors from the Northern part of India was very less. However, we are happy that the event has given us an opportunity to establish our trust and relationship on a long term basis with our customers.”
