The Naren Group has always been setting newer benchmarks with its quality range of electronic and mechanical accessories. It was no different at Texfair 2019 held in Coimbatore where the company’s booth was a big attraction for visitors.
In an exclusive chat, Venkatesan, Business Head of the company, while going into details regarding the company’s participation in the event, said: “We have been in the industry for around 25 years now. We have through our efforts gained a reputation for both electronic and mechanical spares for autoconers. All of them are on display here. Similarly, value-added conversion is another one of our specialty areas. Our conversion kits offer benefits such as energy savings and improved efficiency.”
He added: “In this year’s edition of Texfair Expo, we have represented a reputed brakes and clutches manufacturer for the replacement market, providing an alternative for brakes used in carding, combing and draw frame machines, losing their efficiency over a period of time due to factors like operational wear and tear, and heat. We strongly believe that we have a good market potential for our new addition.”
According to Venkatesan, the company’s dedicated R&D team is always working on feedback that it receives from customers in order to come out with innovative products. He explained: “We take pride in stating that we have developed around 2,400 products along with major retrofits such as Direct Drive system for ring frames, Contifeed PLC conversion for blowroom line, conversion for Trumac carding machines, Espero fan motor conversion, OHTC PLC conversion, etc. This is testimony to our focus on research and development. This is also one of our key strengths, and we hope to continue in the same path, coming out with the right solutions for the textile industry.”
Given the fact that the textile accessories and spares market is a highly competitive one, with products available across price points, what is it that makes Naren Group’s products stand out?
Answering this question, he stated: “As mentioned earlier we have an experience of over 25 years. Most of our team members have worked in the textile industry right at the grassroots level. We therefore know the main concern of the customers. This is the reason we have been able to develop so many products. For instance, if you take autoconers, we can supply all the accessories and spares that you want. If a customer has got 2 or 3 machines of different brands, he need not run around to different manufacturers looking for spares. With us it is single window shopping. With us the customer can find everything. There is no need to waste time and energy communicating with three or four different suppliers.”
Going into details of yet another area of strength of the company, Venkatesan said: “Timely delivery is important. We have robust levels of stock available. There is no waiting period in our case. You just need to order things, and it will be delivered on time. You can find the same commitment with respect to service too. Our focus is to ensure that your machine is back in operation with least or negligible downtime. Just in case we see that we don’t have an accessory, we also have the network globally to reach out and make it part of our inventory and subsequently deliver it to the customer.”
