The Naren Group has been participating in this exhibition since 2004. “India ITME is always a very special platform for us, as we have grown from strength to strength from here. Brand “Naren” has been established and globalized through this exhibition and we really love to participate in this show,” said Mr. R. Sundarraj, Managing Director, Naren Group of Coimbatore, sharing his enthusiasm.

Overseas and Indian visitors who visit the Naren Group Stall located in Hall 1 E1 will see its new range of autoconers. This is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Make in India” vision. New concepts and products which provide relief to spinning mills in terms of labour utilization, maintenance and power savings will also be presented.

According to Mr. Sundarraj, the spares, accessories and conversion products are expected to attract visitors from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam and Egypt. That’s because the products are sought after mainly by spinners. “The products ensure power savings, are maintenance free and reduce total inventory on certain consumables and lower the ROI time.”

Strengths & skills

The Naren Group is backed by a workforce of around 60 employees. Of these, it counts its Core Team and the R&D Team as its strength. This can be understood in terms of a dedicated marketing, service and R&D team who always go to customers and fully meet their requirements, 24×7.

Moving ahead

Being an autoconer specialist, the R&D team of the company strives towards consolidating its position in this segment. One of its new innovative development products “NAREN” – BELTLESS DRIVE SYSTEM (DIRECT COUPLING) has met with success. “Even during a crisis, we have been installing this in several group mills across Tamil Nadu and will soon try to install some in north India,” added Mr. Sundarraj.

The Naren Group is investing its time and money on R&D developments and turnkey projects related to spinning. A new plant for automation products like sensors and controllers will come up soon.

While consumers look forward to newer offerings Mr. Sundarraj reflected on the developments over the last few months. “The current year was a roller-coaster ride and it was an uphill task for any manufacturer in this industry to breathe free. Though we struggled, we managed to survive because we have diversified our business activities,” he admitted, and concluded: “We anticipate the upcoming months with a hope and the year 2017 will be good for everyone. We expect a good boom in the industry.”
