Mohan Spintex India Ltd. (MSIL), with a modest beginning in 2006 with a turnover of $0.6 million, has grown to a $100 million company in 2017-18. With just 14,400 spindles in 2006, MSIL boasts of a current capacity of 1,21,488 spindles (65% compact), 6,272 rotors, 4,800 TFO drums and 156 air jet looms, and stitching capacity equivalent to 1,500 sheet sets per day. The company is equipped with the latest state-of-art manufacturing infrastructure.
MSIL offers a variety of processed fabrics (both dyed and printed) and a wider range of bed linen products for homes and hospitality, such as sheet sets, Duvet covers, shams, decorative pillows, bed skirts, etc., of thread count range from 120 to 1200 in cotton & blends, with attractive colors. It also offers a variety of sewing techniques and embroidery as per the customer requirements. Its manufacturing facilities are ISO, BCI, GOTS and OEKOTEX certified. The integrated value chain helps the company in providing premium quality innovative products. The valued customers are from countries like the US, Europe, Australia, the UAE, etc.
Not to rest on its laurels, MSIL is now exploring the processed fabric market with a massive expansion programme of establishing a process house encompassing bleaching / dyeing / and printing and matching stitching capacity for converting the so processed fabric into ready-to-use bedsheets / home linen, exclusively for export. Construction work has already begun and the project is likely to go on stream by October 2019.
MSIL today is making its effort for sustainability by environmental protection by establishing zero liquid discharge for its effluent and adding economic value to the customers with a host of CSR activities in areas like education, skill development, health & sanitation, and rural development projects.
