We spoke the team at Marzoli on their plans for the Indian market.
Question: How was the overall customer response for your company at India ITME 2012?
Answer: Customer potential for Marzoli at ITME 2012 has been consistent. We had numerous prospects visits, questions, and could have the chance to show them how the yarn quality come out from the real Card, Comber, Roving Frames and Spinning. With so many business cards, now the deal will be to contact them all!
Visitors know that Marzoli keeps its success for being the first company in the world to offer fully automated spinning plants and also having the largest number of automated plants. The interest and curiosity of our partners as well as competitors are well understood.
Q: Can you briefly explain the products and solutions offered by Marzoli at the show?
A: The main technological advancements brought out at the show are the entire line of carding, combing and spinning for cotton and denim and technological enhancements that has directly impacted and improved productivity as measured in kg/hr, efficiency, energy requirements as measured in kw/hr, waste reduction and excellent quality of the end product (<= 5% Uster Statistics).
Q: How has the current year so far been for your company? Has there been any significant growth or highlight during the current financial year?
A: Last year, Marzoli started up a new sales and aftersales firm also in India, called MTMM India, which will progressively deliver spinning and retrofitting, assistance and maintainance to Indian customers, fastly and locally. It guarantees our customers the best delivery, the fastest assistance and the availability of spare parts and technical improvements in loco.
This is our major and more significant growth for the Indian market. At the same time, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Pakistan and Indonesia local agency are growing and financially will bring a high return on investment.
Q: Does the response from India ITME convey a positive trend as we enter the 2013? What are your thoughts on the new year and how it will turnout to be for the Indian textile industry?
A: The Indian textile industry has been growing fast since last one decade. We foresee high returns for industries that to look ahead, invest in the most advanced technology, in the complete new line, in her assurance of quality since 162 years. We forecast trust and confidence from our customers that will spread out into the country in the next 3 years relevantly and accordingly with the financial achievements.
Q: Will Marzoli to launch any new products or solutions in 2013?
A: Marzoli has plans to consolidate sales of the Galileo Line, completely updated and new, presented at ITMA Barcelona and at India ITME. We are launching the new compact system for technical yarns and fancy yarn.
Q: Overall, how would you rate the India ITME show this year?
A: We rate the show with a high potential for our sales representatives, now we are to play with these numerous contacts and win the game.
Q: With a greater increasing focus on energy efficiency and conservation and improved productivity, what about prospects of Marzoli playing an important role in the growth of the Indian textile industry?
A: Our main target in the last three years have been Galileo Line, and with it we can provide not only the most advanced system of energy consumption saving, but also and mostly of waste saving, from the same quantity of raw material, much more and more final yarn production. Galileo Line means two main characteristics: save money, with greater results. We believe this is already bringing into India one of the most crucial needs: technology confidence, advanced assistance and Made in Italy know-how.
