Coimbatore-based MAG Solvics, leaders in testing equipment, is all set for ITMA 2019. “ITMA being a very prestigious event, we are fully focused on the expo. We have formed different teams with a coordinator to seamlessly integrate all in order to complete the expo successfully. It is wonderful to be back in Barcelona. We feel, this year MAG will definitely fulfill and surpass the market expectations,” says Mr. Dhandayuthapani, Director, MAG Solvics.
“ITMA has helped us explore new markets and we have entered into partnerships with many OEMs and agents for promoting our products. Being a customer centric organization, MAG always thinks from their perspective, and this has paid off well earning new customers. We cannot skip this expo at any cost. We are happy that we are participating and launching new products every time at the event. ITMA gives us a platform to meet all the prospective customers at one place”, he added.
Until 2015, bringing online monitoring systems was not considered as a range among MAG products. But by understanding its potential in the market, the company launched online spindle monitoring system (SPinFO) in ITMA 2015, at an economical cost. “Our meticulous planning in bringing out a good product has contributed in improving the overall efficiency of the spinning mill. This has earned a very good name and support from the market and driving us to contribute more to the industry,” he said.
Explaining about the products that the company will be showcasing at the event, Mr. Dhandayuthapani said: “We plan to bring out our existing re-engineered products and some new products in our existing product range. For the first time, we plan to showcase instruments related to fabric and processing also in ITMA. The demand for quality standards is driving everyone in the field to develop new products”, he stated.
The key markets the company currently focuses on include, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Turkey, Iran and some parts of Europe. Continuing further Mr. Dhandayuthapani said: “We have also entered into the Uzbek market in 2017 and doing well. The demand for quality is forcing all the customers to install new testing instruments and we hope to get a good share. Almost 40% of the company’s sales come from exports and has been growing over the years. We expect more uptrend and are targeting exports above 50% in the next 2-3 years”.
The company has its own design studio and manufacturing facility. All components are designed and manufactured internally and so brings down the cost of the instrument. “Technicians are part of our sales and service team which is an advantage for us in easily understanding the requirements of our customers. We react fast to the customer requirements and provide immediate solutions wherever possible. We have service teams in every region in India and outside. This has earned very good reputation in the market for MAG,” he explained.
MAG can be spotted in Hall 7, Stall B121. “We invite all our existing and prospective customers to visit our stall and have a look at our range of products for obtaining technical inputs on the same”, he concludes.
