Lakshmi Precision Technologies Limited (LPT) has made a distinct mark for itself with its quality range of product line for automation. The company is all prepared to showcase its expertise at the forthcoming Texfair 2024 exhibition.
In an exclusive interview, K. Jayakumar, Director- Operations said that the company had done well in 2023-24 despite the going being tough for the textile industry. “For LPT FY 2023-24 was on par with FY 2022-23. Our relentless focus on innovation, quality and customer service has stood us in good stead in the market. We feel that we are moving in the right direction, “he said.
The company will be displaying its ‘GLI- CLEAN’ OHTCs, 2 versions of its semi-automatic doffing machine – DYNADOFF and DYNADOFF ENHANCE and a newly designed AERO-LITE Speed Frame Flyer.
“The Speed Frame Flyer is another testimony to our strong R&D. It’s a completely new design, patented and developed by LPT”, he said. Featuring modular honeycomb structure, the speed frame flyer helps reduce cost, while also helping create superior yarn.
The company, which has been participating in Texfair since 2019 onwards is all excited to participate in this edition. “For one the trade fair is happening in our hometown. It provides a good platform to meet customers from all over the country. We feel that Texfair 2024 is happening at the right time. There is a downturn in industry and perhaps this exhibition will signal a change in fortune for the industry. Hopefully, the trade fair marks the beginning of the industry’s upturn” he stated.
Continuing further Jayakumar added,” Automation has started picking up in a big way in the textile industry. A lot of R&D goes into our upcoming products. Our products are designed to enable automation. Additionally, they also help reduction in wastage and improve overall efficiency which in turn means savings for the customer. The trade fair will give us an opportunity to explain customers about the benefits they stand to gain using our solutions.”
The company has over the past few years begun expanding its global footprint. “We have been exporting our OHTCs to Turkey. We are in the finalization stages for export to other countries such as Bangladesh and Indonesia. We will keep you posted about the expansion plans,” he mentioned.
Going into details on what makes the company’s products stand out from the crowd, Jayakumar stated. “Our products are known for their robust design, quality and performance. Take for example, our DYNADOFF semi-automatic doffing solution. It can be retrofitted on existing Ring Frame. The investment is not huge. So, from a capital machinery point of view, it translates into good savings for the customer, while also improving their productivity,” he pointed out.
