“Companies become successful when they are guided by people who have the ability to combine vision and dedication with hard work”. This was the message conveyed by Mr. Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, Managing Director of LMW, at the Platinum Jubilee celebration of Rajapalayam Mills in 2011.
It is true that our company’s success is due to the guidance received from LMW, then and there.
It will be appropriate to mention here that the late G. Kuppusamy Naidu, great grandfather of Mr. Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, was helping our Founder by advising him during the construction at Kovilpatti to establish the mill there. When we started production on August 5, 1938, he fed the first cotton in the blow room machine and blessed our institution with his golden touch.
GKD inaugurated the Golden Jubilee celebration of RML in 1988. In 1990, when we were about to establish 100% EOU units, the first of its kind in South India, it was the late D. Jayavarthanavelu, father of Mr. Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, who advised us in the selection of best machineries for that project.
The golden touch still continues in the fourth generation of LMW family, with Mr. Sanjay giving us timely advice and providing us with the latest state-of-the-art machineries.
