Having addressed the immediate need for ‘Saving Lives’ by offering these very special viral-safe masks at affordable prices by Socially responsible Pricing, Loyal wanted now to step into ‘Saving Lively Hoods’ of people affected by the lock down and Pandemic. IBAT (Inclusion Beyond Abilities Trust, Bangalore) and TNDFCT (Tamil Nadu Differently Abled Federation Charitable Trust, Chennai) have partnered with Loyal to make this Vision much more meaningful by identifying Differentially Abled Persons (DAP) who are now socially challenged due to the down turn in the economy and thrown out of jobs for this Project.
Late Manikam Ramaswami, Former Chairman and Managing Director, had been a strong advocate of Helping to Sustain Lives and Lively Hoods and lived his entire life in serving this motto. Loyal has always been keen on inclusive growth. Hence Loyal decided to dedicate this Social Initiative to his memory on his 3rd Remembrance Anniversary, 2nd October 2020. 2nd October also is the birthday of our beloved Mahatma Gandhi Ji, Father of our NATION, whose principles were followed by Manikam Ramaswami and hence the date and occasion are very apt to celebrate their lives.
Now the first batch of 23 DAPs have been provided with hard ware like Umbrellas, Boxes and Show platform to display Masks, Face Shields and other such products and sell them to the general public at socially responsible pricing. A major part of the sales values thus realized will go to the DAPs so that their LIVELY HOODS will now be supported.
