Khosla Profil was established by Pramod Khosla in 1979, a first generation entrepreneur for the manufacturing of polypropylene filtration fabrics. Since then it has done both backward and forward integration and expanded its production facilities with the best technology equipment to become one of Asia’s largest technical textile player. Expansion Plans
The company has got expansion plans in the pipeline. It has invested over Rs 100 crore in the last two years to enhance its production capacity. The company is planning further investment of Rs 100 crore in the coming year for balancing equipment and expanding nonwoven capacity. In the recently held Techtextil India show in Mumbai, the company launched a new product for nonwoven high temperature filtration media with special lamination produced in-house at its new plant. Khosla Profil’s vision for the immediate future is to aim to achieve over Rs 750 crore turnover by 2025-26.
