Karl Mayer to present trend-setting production technologies at ShanghaiTex

Karl Mayer will be presenting its latest innovations related to warp knitting and warp preparation machinery at ShanghaiTex scheduled to be held during June 10-13. In an exhibition area covering 744 m², the company will be showing its latest developments in the lace and tricot machinery sections. The visitors will also have the opportunity to see the Karl Mayer’s high-performance 4-bar TM 4EL tricot machine.

This newcomer completes Karl Mayer’s portfolio of TM models. So far, the successful machine series included the TM 2, TM 3, TM 4-T and TM 4-T EL.

The TM 4 EL is intended for production of plain fabrics, being the counterpart of the TM 4-T EL in the 4-bar tricot machine range, which is designed for manufacturing terry articles and which will also be presented at ShanghaiTex. The new TM 4 EL reaches rotational speeds of up to 1,400 min-1. It offers high productivity along with a simple operation and product quality. All these features make this machine especially interesting for all those who want to manufacture garments as well as semi-technical textiles, in particular shoe fabrics.

The standard working width of the new TM 4 EL is 186”. The machine gauges are E 28 and E 32.

In addition to the 4-bar tricot machines, stall visitors will also have the chance to take a look at innovations related to the topic of Jacquard fabrics made on double-bar Raschel machines. Karl Mayer’s business unit Warp Preparation will be showing its new elastic warper DSE 21/21 EC. This new-comer completes the manufacturer’s offer of direct warping machines, being the price-performance-improved equivalent of the DSE-HH type.

Compared to the top-performance model, the DSE 21/21 EC produces beams with smaller maximum diameters. Another outstanding feature of this machine is its performance intended to satisfy the user’s basic requirements.

Along the innovations for Knitting Warp Preparation, the Karl Mayer stand will also be presenting the efficiency of various yarn tensioners fitted to a demonstration creel. The company will also display a SMS size box – all in all, a wide-ranging showcase of new developments by means of which this renowned textile machinery builder sets the stage to justify its reputation as an innovative trend-setter in warp knitting and warp preparation technology.
