The Coimbatore-based Indo Texnology is considered one of the innovative pioneers in the automation and monitoring systems domain. Established in 2007, the company is all set to display its prowess in the field at Texfair 2019 to be held in Coimbatore during August 9-12.
“We have been regularly participating in the event. This is an important event, particularly from the point of meeting up with the top textile mills located in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and the rest of India,” said Mr. Thirupathi, Managing Director of the company.
The company has already supplied around 20 automatic cone packing (ACP) systems for carton box to some of the large and quality spinners in the country and most of them have placed repeat orders. Some of the customers have already been equipped with three systems each to do 100% packing with ACP.
Indo Texnology will be formally launching its ACP solution for bag / sack packing at Texfair 2019. Textile products are usually packed in three formats, i.e., boxes, bags and pallets. The last named is for internal transport in an integrated mill. Predominantly it is in boxes or bags. Boxes are usually used for export or long-distance transport. The bulk of packing happens in bags, which is primarily for the domestic market.
Speaking about the company’s future plans, Mr. Thirupathi said: “Most of our solutions were conceptually new when introduced 4-5 years ago. In these years all the products have gone through continuous improvement and have reached their near best in terms of reliability and user-friendliness. While it has also taken time for the market to absorb, assimilate and implement, as the industry is facing severe labour shortage, and mills all over are planning and budgeting for automation.”
The company has designed process and specially trained application engineers for feasibility study and guiding mills before proposing an appropriate automation solution. An adequate number of well-trained manpower for installation and aftersales support for mills are located in Coimbatore and other centres.
Mr. Thirupathi also said: “We look forward to interacting with various stakeholders from the textile industry at Texfair 2019. They can meet us at in Hall-B, Stall No.: A-21, at the event.”
