Lakshmi Card Clothing Introduces new Card Clothing Wire at ITMA

India based Lakshmi Card Clothing is showcasing a brand new card clothing wire at ITMA. This is the second time that the company is participating in ITMA after the 1995 edition. The new card clothing wire is highly durable, long lasting and improves the quality of yarns, according to Mr.S.Harishankar, Joint Managing Director of the company. Adding further Mr.Harishankar said that the new card clothing wire has been made using better technology and superior metallurgy and is produced on state-of-the-art machines. Lakshmi Card Clothing exports its products to over 30 countries and practically all continents. Exports account for 35 percent of its production with the rest catering to the large Indian market.

Mangal Singh Bros Displaying New Hydro-carbon Apron for Texturising

Mangal Singh Bros from Navi Mumbai, India, is displaying its new hydro-carbon apron for texturising applications made from special polymers, which offers longer life and better performance even in extreme conditions. According to Mr.Susheel Sheth, Business Manager of the company, the product is already being marketed in the Chinese and Taiwanese markets and is at ITMA to market it to clients in other countries. 

Lohia Corp Eyes European Replacement Market for Carpet Backing Yarn Winders at ITMA

Lohia Corp Ltd, based out of New Delhi, India, is debuting winders for carpet backing yarns and a rope winder which is used after the extrusion process at ITMA. The company has been participating in ITMA since the last three editions. Going into details about the company’s participation, Mr.Anil Bagga, Vice President, Business Development of the company said that Lohia Corp is looking at the huge replacement market in Europe. He added that most of the winders with companies are very old, which translates into substantial potential for the company’s winders in the European market.

This is the fourth time that Aksons Engineers, headquartered at Pune, India, is participating at ITMA. The company is into manufacturing of polymer cleaning equipment and also various testing and auxiliary equipment like yarn splicers and yarn tension meters. According to Mr.Ajit Akolkar, Partner, Aksons Engineers, the company exports its products to around 25 countries across the globe such as USA, Brazil, Peru, Thailand, Japan, Germany, Belgium, Indonesia, etc.

Phoenix Launches Suction Guns Sans Adhesive

Phoenix Textile Engineering from Pune, India, is a leading producer of textile parts like suction guns, splicers, winding scissors, etc. The first time participant at ITMA has launched a new suction gun in which it has added special seal, which enables assembling of the gun without any adhesive. Giving an overview of the product, Mr.Raghunath Khadilkar, Director of the company explained that when adhesives are used there is a possibility of damage and with the new seal, there is no need for adhesives to assemble the gun. The benefits include that the gun can be opened and closed many times, due to which it also increases its lifetime. Phoenix has also developed equipment for monitoring the performance of yarn suction guns, which can help in saving compressed air up to 10 percent while producing POY.

Zeon Showcasing Rough Top belts at ITMA

Zeon Belts, based out of Jalandhar, India is exhibiting Rough Top Belts, along with the company’s other product range of conventional belts at ITMA. The company also produces roller coverings for the weaving industry. Zeon which is participating at ITMA for the second time, exports its products to around 29 countries like Russia, Malaysia, Egypt, Iran, Brazil, etc. Mr.Manav Malhotra, Managing Director of the company said that Zeon exports 70 percent of its production with rest being sold in the Indian market. 

New Rings from Ringmann Offer Higher Efficiency to Spinners

Ringmann, with its headquarters located out of Coimbatore, India, has redeveloped its range of rings by adding a superior coating which helps spinners achieve lesser hairiness and higher efficiency due to lesser breaks, and higher productivity. This is the fourth time that the company is participating at ITMA. Mr.Vijay Anand, General Manager, Ringmann while commenting on the mega show said that the company is pleased with the response it has received within the first two days as the team got to meet nearly 15 new buyers alongside existing buyers. The company is exporting to all continents except Australia, adding up to 30 countries.

Indiana Introduces New Ceramic Guides for Improving Yarn Quality

Indiana Technical Ceramics from Surat, India, is participating at ITMA for the third time and is in to production of ceramic guides. The company has introduced guides made from Alumina 99.5 percent purity and also from Zirconia at the fair. Earlier, the company made guides of up to 95 per cent purity. According to Mr.Sanjay Bhalerao, Production Incharge of the company, by using 99.5 Alumina, the quality of yarns improve, breakages reduce and the life of the guide also increases.

Lakshmi Ring Travellers Launches Compact & Lightweight Strobscobe at ITMA

Lakshmi Ring Travellers has launched a compact and lightweight Strobscope at ITMA 2015. According to Mr.J.M.Balaji, Head Marketing of the company with its headquarters at Coimbatore, India, the Strobscope has a weight of just 300 grams against the 5-6 kgs weight of earlier models. It has been designed for long life, with its light being very bright compared to other models available in the global market, capable of running for 6-7 hours on one charge. Although it has been only one day into ITMA, Mr.Balaji says that the company has already booked orders and looks forward to continued response.

Jivanlal & Sons from Ahmedabad, India, is exhibiting for the first time consumable spare parts of Schlaforst Autocoro 5, a fairly new model from Schlaforst and also several spare parts across the spinning, weaving and winding areas. According to Mr.Deepam Sharma, spokesperson of the company, they are among the first in the world to display the AC 5 spare parts. The company has also upgraded the metallurgy in its parts and offers them at par with those offered by European producers.  

Peass Industrial Engineers Launches Unique Waste Reducing Length Controlling System

French Technology Helps Maksteel Lengthen Life of Wire Healds

Maksteel , headquartered at Vadodara, India, is displaying a wide range of products at ITMA 2015 including, wire healds, twin wire healds, harness cords, comber boards, guide boards and wire healds with spring sets. The company has improved the quality of its products by using technology and raw materials imported from France. Mr.Arpit Sidhpura, Director of the company claims that they are the first in India to adopt this technology which offers higher flexibility and tensile strength to their range of wire healds. According to Mr. Sidhpura, the lifetime of the healds increases three fold and surface finishing better. Although a superior technology, Maksteel is offering the new wire healds at par with its old price. It exports its products to more than 25 countries including China, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Thailand, Indonesia, etc.

Jupiter Comtex Introducing Indigo Rope Dyeing Technology

Jupiter Comtex Pvt Ltd, a well known name in the Indian textile industry, is introducing a new innovation in Indigo Rope Dyeing technology at ITMA. Since it is not possible to display the whole technology, the company is showing important components of the machine viz., the Lease Reed & Ball Warping Headstock; Indigo Dye Tank of Rope Dyeing and the Headstock of the Long Chain Beamer.

According to Ms .Arohita Mistry, Director, Jupiter Comtex, the Indigo Rope Dyeing technology is well proven among various yarn counts to obtain deep Indigo shades of around 6 per cent in which, ropes are prepared on ball warping after which cones are converted into ropes. Hence, there is no yarn wastage or shade variation. The technology also ensures higher productivity due to the continuous process.

Explaining what makes the Rope Dyeing machine technologically different from others, Ms.Mistry said, it has a tension control system which is digital, while reliability is high as critical parts like drives, sensors, load cell, etc are imported from Europe. Additionally, the PLC controlled pre-calibrated cup dosing system is very accurate and reliable than metering pump dosing system.

Texo Cams Presenting Cams for Staubli Airjet machines

Texo Cams which is participating for the first time at ITMA is launching cams for Staubli airjet machines. According to Mr.Chetan Patel, Director of the Ahmedabad based company, a guarantee of up to one year is given for machines which run up to 1,000 rpm. Also on display at the company’s booth are cams for all type of looms like rapier, projectile and airjet. It exports to countries like Italy, Spain, Ireland, Turkey, Bangladesh, Pakistan, etc.

Schoch Reeds Unveils “Generation to Consumption” Air Audit Service at ITMA 2015

This time at ITMA, Schoch is displaying energy saving reeds, a new development from the company. The company is also unveiling new services, which it calls “Generation to Consumption”. Under this concept, Schoch does an audit of the air usage which is an important component of production costs and helps reduce energy consumption. In India, it offers this service under the name of ‘EReed’, to companies like Itema (IReed). According to Mr.Bhushan Dhavate, Manager Marketing, Schoch Reeds India, the company has a team of dedicated service engineers who do the air audit across the whole flow of air, offering  solutions to reduce air consumption. He further adds that the services help save air usage between 15-20 percent depending on the machine and the fabrics that are produced.

Jaydeep Industries from Surat, India, is a producer of healds and reeds. The company mainly produces healds for high speed Jacquard machines. It exports its products to around 17 countries globally. Healds made from carbon fibres help increase the speed of the machines, while healds made from German raw materials is mainly for sensitive yarns. Mr. Nilesh Shah, Partner Unique Group claims that they are the second producer in the world to make quality healds and are producing an import substitute product of the same quality, which they offer at a very competitive price vis-a-vis the healds that are imported into India. Unique exports 20 per cent of its production to countries like USA, France, Spain, Mauritius, Bahrain, etc.

ABC Corporation, a first time participant at ITMA from Ahmedabad, India is displaying weaving parts and accessories at ITMA. The company is launching its range of ring temples at the event. According to Mr.Mittal Patel, Director of the company, this is a niche segment which is dominated by South Korean and Chinese companies. ABC , though a late comer to manufacturing ring temples, is already exporting to European countries, as well as the US. Mr.Patel added that the company is trying to differentiate itself by offering quality at par offered by European manufacturers. He also mentioned that ABC is striving to offer quality which can match that of the original parts. He is of the opinion that ‘Made-in-India’ textile parts have higher value than those offered by Chinese or Korean counterparts, since they offer superior quality, which ensures that the lifetime of the art goes up substantially.

Indian Card Showcasing Maintenance Equipment for Card Tops Which Reduces Downtime

Indian Card Clothing, based out of Pune, India is displaying maintenance equipment for tops in revolving flat cards. The equipments help measure the height of the tops, the variation in the tops, and in the second round, a resharpening is done based on the variation that has been identified. The reading can be measured through blue tooth either on a PC, tablet or a mobile device. The company is exporting cones to around 24 countries, with South and Central America being the key markets, besides Europe and Middle East as well.

ColorJet Group from Noida India is presenting two future-ready digital textile printing solutions, the ‘Metro’ and the ‘Fabjet-Duo’ at ITMA 2015. Going into details about the products, Mr.Smarth Bansal, Brand Manager of the company explained that the Metro is compatible with all types of inks like reactive acid disperse and pigment and can print any kind of fabric, ranging from 0.1mm to 30mm including cotton, polyester, silk, viscose, wool, nylon, acetate and various blended fabrics. The second product- the Fabjet-Duo has the ‘Power of Two’ in one machine. This printer has a dual ink supply system which gives one the freedom to choose between any two of the three inks; Reactive, Disperse and Pigment and thus with just a flick of a switch, the printer becomes a reactive or pigment or disperse ink printer.

Geratex Uses Ultrasonic Technology in Fabric Processing Machine

Geratex Machinery Pvt Ltd from Vadodara, India is launching and introducing a first-of-its-kind, innovative and sustainable textile fabric processing machine to process fabrics, whether mercerizing, bleaching, desizing or washing at ITMA 2015. Using ultrasonic technology on industrial size washing machines, the Geratex fabric washer offers higher efficiency in terms of space, energy usage and also chemicals and water consumption. According to Mr.Venkat Reddy, Managing Director of the company, the ultrasonic technology can also be retrofitted into existing fabric processing machines to achieve comprehensive savings. He further added that as per actual production trials, the machine helps save around 20-30 percent of chemicals, delivers 25-35 percent water savings and 30-35 percent in energy savings with the biggest advantage accruing from its compact size, which helps save space up to 60 percent.

Savio Texcone Displaying High CS Paper Cone which Helps Avoid Yarn Slippages at ITMA

Savio Texcone, from Hapur, India is displaying high CS paper cone suitable for any type of yarn, but in particular for Lycra yarns. According to Mr.Ashok Chharia, Managing Director of the company, since the cone is strong, there are zero possibilities of damage to the yarn. Elaborating on the same, he says, “In conventional cones, the bottom most cones in a carton get damaged while in transit, which can be avoided in the CS paper cones. This means that customer can add more moisture in the yarn, because this cone can withstand damage from the steam. As of now Indian textile mills like Vardhman and Nahar are already using these cones”.

Third time ITMA participant Wintex happy with response

Wintex which is participating at ITMA for the third time is in the market since 1965 and has been exporting since 1967. It is mainly known for its quality textile spare parts, primarily catering to the spinning segment and also open-end spinning. The main export market for Wintex is the American continent from South America to Canada in the North. Apart from this it also caters to the South East Asia market. Mr Rajagopal says they still have customers whom they have been exporting to since the last 40 years. He adds that this time too, they have received good response and serious enquiries from new clients from various countries. 

 ABC Systems offer customisation & also value to each client

ABC which is exhibiting at ITMA for the second time produces humidification systems and waste collection systems with a very strong technology base. Apart from India, the company also has a strong hold in the Bangladesh market. According to Mr Ahmed, value factors differ between Indian and foreign clients. “Foreign customers value good technology at affordable prices and lower energy costs,” he says. ABC customises each of its humidification plants for the client so that the plant proves to be energy efficient and economical for the customer.
