HYOSUNG, the largest spandex manufacturer in the world, has increased production capacity in China and Vietnam. The expansion in Vietnam is in anticipation of the passing of the TPP agreement. The additional capacity in China is designed to meet the growing consumer demand for spandex.
In addition to investment in capacity, HYOSUNG has opened a Textile Development Center in China to focus on fabric development and innovation. The center which includes covering, hosiery, seamless, circular knitting and weaving equipment, is intended to use the facilities to prove out new creora product innovation as well as develop new prototype concepts to integrate in customized business development workshops.
