Sustainable development has now become a decisive competitive factor. Textile manufacturers all over the world are now confronted with big challenges: While the State and the society demand resource-saving and environmentally-friendly factories, the ecological responsibility necessitates an efficient use of energy and raw materials.
German textile machinery manufacturers affiliated to VDMA are recognized worldwide for their leadership as regards innovations and quality. They constantly optimize utilization of machines, components and technology in view of sustainability, and thus offer the key for energy and resource-efficient manufacturing processes. The BLuecoMPeTence initiative of VDMA provides guidance to identify those machinery manufacturers who respond with their products and their contribution to the economy, ecology and social responsibility in a sustainable and transparent manner.
