The journey of inception for Ferraro SpA goes way back to 1951, soon after the 2nd World War, by the entrepreneurial efforts of Mr. Ferraro, who was iconic in setting up the first manufacturing facility at Busto Arsizio, Italy, for the production of packaging machines used in garmenting. When the necessity of machineries for the textile industry become an imperative need, Ferraro SpA started to manufacture felt and polishing calenders for knitted fabrics.

Also in the early 1970s, the company diversified further and started manufacturing calenders for textile ironing and also ventured into producing compacting machines for fabric stabilization. Today, after four long decades, Ferraro produces the best in technology compactors for the textiles vertical and it has taken the slots of core business for the Italian manufacturer.

Ferraro’s compacting machines serve as a key for customers looking for finer fabrics, and more and more players are now standardizing their systems by using the latest Ferraro technology.
