Over 20,000,000 spindles air-conditioned so far
AESA Air Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is one of the prominent players in air engineering and waste collection systems in the country. Though a late comer, the company has been able to gain a sizeable market share by winning a lot of orders from leading textile mills, particularly in the recent past.
Mr. Manish Kapoor, General Manager, AESA Air Engineering Pvt. Ltd., told The Textile Magazine that the company completed 16 projects worth about 4 million Euro in 2009 and achieved a sales turnover of 3 million Euro in 2008. For the current year also, the order flow is equally encouraging, and the company has already completed projects worth about 3 million Euros during January-May. Among the several mills that have placed orders are Nahar, Siyaram, Mohan Spintex, Srinivasa Spintex, SEL Manufacturing, etc.
Mr. Kapur further said that the major USP for the company is being the only organisation which does the filtration from inside to outside compared to the other way round by other players. Further, it provides the fan that does not need civil grouting since it comes out with free fabrication technology for the entire textile industry. This innovative AESA technology has proved more attractive to the customer with no requirement of bricks at all. The Trident Group has already adopted this unique concept.
Decades-long experience
AESA Air Engineering is the result of the merger of Air Industrie, Ameliorair and LTG Air Engineering of more than 50 years experience each. AESA, a global leader in air-conditioning for textiles, has branches in France, India, Singapore, Egypt, Hong Kong and China. Over 10,000 running installations worldwide, in all types of industrial applications, bear testimony to the company’s long experience.
Areas of experience cover ventilation and air-conditioning as well as filtration and waste collection for spinning, weaving, knitting and nonwoven processes using natural fibers, synthetic fibers and blends. The company has the distinction of air-conditioning over 20,000,000 spindles around the world.
AESA Air Engineering supplies a complete system in order to maintain the required temperature and humidity. The scope of supply ranges from simple air-conditioning stations to turnkey projects, including centralized dust collectors, balling press systems, chiller and refrigeration plants, and ducting and piping.
The weave direct system ensures direct conditioning of the warp area on the loom, increased dust removal efficiency, less supply air volume and optimal conditions for the process, substantial energy savings and significantly lower operating costs and maintenance of air condition both in the room and on the loom.
Besides increasing the efficiency of machines, the system optimizes air distribution, maintains the required humidity of the loom and room conditions, and reduces warp yarn breaks by up to 8 per cent.
Further, the AESA system guarantees cooling and solidification of the extruded filament, maintains pre-programmed temperature and humidity values, ensures constant pressure and air flow, extracts heat and provides heat recovery, and processes exhaust air.
Texturizing application covers air-conditioning system for creels and filtering of contaminated return air from the machines. As for spinning mills, there are ‘quench’ air units for constant cooling of the extrusion area and for air-conditioning of take-up rooms, as well as accurate control of tolerances for temperature, humidity and pressure settings.
