Grosse back in India with electronic jacquards

Grosse, having more than 130 years of experience in manufacturing user-friendly jacquard machines, has restarted its India operations from mid-2011 after restructuring its internal organization. The India operations are headed by its General Manager, Mr. Kalsi Rajendra Singh, having more than 15 years of technical experience with Grosse.

Grosse International Technology (Gitec’), located in Ulm, Germany, is primarily focusing on R&D, international sales and services. The modern production facility of Grosse at Zhou Shan, China has implemented German quality management system. The supply of all key spares from GITEC Germany ensures assembly of quality end products. GITEC has appointed Ayush Impex, Bangalore, and Dwarkesh Sales and Services, as its agents in India.

Since inception in 1878, Grosse Germany has its strong focus on R&D that has introduced several cutting-edge technologies in jacquard weaving and offered technologically superior products. Grosse was the first to exhibit UniShed2 with the highly demanding application of airbag weaving at ITMA Barcelona in September last.

Grosse has also introduced its most versatile electronic jacquard model EJP4 with new C24 controller suitable for modern high speed weaving machines for production of all types of jacquard woven products. The simple design uses a minimum number of moving mechanical parts, and the new electronic control system based on Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) ensures 100 per cent functional reliability in the weaving unit. The all-new name Jacquard 2 with compact controller is also in the product list.
