Greenhome Furnishings to unveil ‘Ekoscious’ range at Heimtextil 2025

Greenhome Furnishings Private Limited, established in 2023, is the sustainable home textiles division of BKS Textiles. Based in Tiruppur, the company is poised to make a significant impact at Heimtextil 2025 with its quality range of eco-conscious products.

Speaking exclusively to The Textile Magazine, Dr. Sudha Anand, Director of Greenhome Furnishings, shared the company’s guiding philosophy. “Greenhome’s operating principle is sustainability first. Our vision is to be a sustainability-led textile manufacturer, driven by innovative thinking, process orientation, and stakeholder centricity. Our mission is to be recognized as frontrunners in the space of sustainable textiles and to achieve excellence through harmonious, ethical growth, “she said.

She further revealed the company’s plans for the prestigious trade show, stating, “We will be showcasing our range of eco-conscious collections under the brand – ‘Ekoscious’ at Heimtextil 2025.So far, we have eight collections under Ekoscious. We will also be introducing two new ranges of sustainable bed linens at the event.”

Standing apart

Explaining what sets Greenhome apart, Dr.Sudha Anand emphasized the role of innovation and design in creating unique, sustainable products. “Our innovation is focused in the area of sustainable textiles. As far as designing is concerned, we work with designers who keep abreast with international trends and design concepts. We believe that our focus on sustainability, traceability, and social compliance are the key differentiators,” she explained.

Eco-Friendly practices

Greenhome’s commitment to eco-friendly practices is evident in its sourcing and manufacturing processes. “At Greenhome, depending on the customers’ requirements, we source raw materials from selected suppliers who have sustainability certifications like Oeko Tex, GOTS, GRS, Fair Trade, etc. Our manufacturing plants – sewing, processing, and weaving – also carry all the necessary social and environmental compliance certifications,” Dr.Sudha Anand highlighted.

Balancing quality and sustainability

Dr.Sudha Anand believes that quality and sustainability are intertwined. “Customers who are keen on sustainability are also very keen on quality. To make sustainable products at an affordable price is a challenge. Our customers guide us in this area, and refining cost is a continuous learning process, “she said.

While the UK and the European Union remain Greenhome’s primary markets, the company is actively exploring opportunities in the USA and South America.

Adapting to market trends

Discussing Greenhome’s strategy for staying relevant, Dr.Sudha Anand noted, “Sustainability is the trend in home textiles. We try and keep up by increasing our sustainable textile offerings that are in line with the EU’s new sustainability directives.”

She also outlined Greenhome’s competitive advantages observing, “Working with the right spirit and mindset enables us to place responsibility towards people and the planet above all else. Our passion for innovation and creating intellectual property with brands related to sustainability and the circular economy are our strengths.”

Future growth goals

Exuding optimism on the company growth trajectory she mentioned, “As Greenhome is a new venture, we are looking at aggressively growing our top line in the next five years. We believe there is space for everyone in the market, and the key is to have a few differentiators/USPs and focus on those.”

Strategic importance of Heimtextil 2025

Dr.Sudha Anand underscored the strategic value of participating in Heimtextil stating, “Heimtextil is the most important trade show for us. As it attracts visitors from all over Europe, it gives us good visibility to the right buyers. With the special focus on sustainability through Econogy directory, etc., we find this trade fair most appropriate for us.”
